ABOUT

Ki was born in Hong Kong and raised in the Bay Area, Ki graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Video Game Animation at the Academy of Art University, San Francisco in May of 2022. He grew up watching animated films with captivating stories that were popular in the 90s such as Lion King, and Toy Story. He naturally developed a passion for storytelling when he was at San Leandro Academy for Multimedia (SLAM) making short films that have won multiple local "Slammy Awards".

 

Ki has many work experiences in different fields, such as being a barista at multiple cafes, an arrivals manager for Cathay Pacific Airlines, and a Licensed Vocational Nurse for Psychiatric Facility. All of these require excellent communication skills and an understanding of being great a team player. Currently, he is focusing on refining his animation skills at the Academy of Art University and attending Animation Mentor which is taught by many animation professionals from many different companies such as ILM, Dreamworks, Disney, and Pixar.
